Material handling
Guided video for material handling and forklift service
Warehouse equipment faults are reported quickly and described briefly. A guided recording adds the detail that determines the right response.
No app. No account. No video call.
How can material handling service teams assess a forklift fault remotely?
The operator records the fault, the dashboard warning, the mast or steering behaviour and the identification plate through a guided link. The service team assesses whether the truck can remain in use, which engineer is needed and which parts to bring, before anyone is dispatched.
The typical situation
A truck is taken out of service on a brief description, and the engineer's first visit is effectively a diagnosis trip.
Who records the video
The truck operator, the warehouse supervisor, or the attending engineer.
What is captured
- Fault behaviour in operation
- Dashboard and error display
- Mast, forks and hydraulic movement
- Identification and capacity plate
- Battery or charging condition
- Damage and tyre wear
How the service team uses it
- Decide whether the truck stays in service
- Prioritise against warehouse operations
- Assign an engineer with the right qualification
- Prepare parts before travelling
- Record fleet condition and damage
Operational outcomes
- Faster return to operation
- Fewer diagnosis-only visits
- Better fleet condition records
- Clearer damage accountability
Outcomes depend on your own service operation. We do not publish savings percentages that have not been measured with you.
Two directions of video
Before dispatch, and from the field.
The same structured approach is used in both directions, with different capture steps.
01 Customer or site → Service team
- Service request received
- Guided video link sent
- Customer or site contact records
- Service team reviews
- Resolve remotely or dispatch correctly
02 Field technician → Head office
- Technician opens the job
- Guided capture on site
- Checklist and readings
- Before and after evidence
- Completion record reviewed centrally

- Pre-dispatch triage with guided video
Triage service requests on what the customer can show, not what they can describe. Guided video before dispatch across field service, equipment and technical support.
- Reducing unnecessary service visits
Some visits are avoidable: a reset, a setting, a consumable, a fault outside scope. Guided video identifies them before anyone travels.
- Structured service documentation from the field
Video, photos, answers and checklist responses kept together as one structured service record instead of scattered across messages and notes.
