Before and after evidence from the field

The condition found and the condition left are the two facts most often disputed after a service visit, and the two most rarely documented.

No app. No account. No video call.

How can a technician document work performed?

The technician follows a guided flow on their own phone: the condition found, the work performed, and the condition left, plus any required photos and checklist confirmations. The result is attached to the service case and can be reviewed centrally, reused in warranty or claims discussions, and referenced if the same asset returns.

The typical situation

A dispute arises weeks later and the only record of what was found is a one-line job note.

Who records the video

The attending field technician or service engineer.

What is captured

  • Condition found on arrival
  • Work performed
  • Condition left on completion
  • Parts replaced and readings taken
  • Customer-visible result

How the service team uses it

  • Verify work remotely without a second visit
  • Support warranty and claims discussions
  • Review quality against the standard expected
  • Share the result with the customer

Operational outcomes

  • Defensible service records
  • Fewer disputed jobs
  • Remote quality control
  • Better handover between visits

Outcomes depend on your own service operation. We do not publish savings percentages that have not been measured with you.

Two directions of video

Before dispatch, and from the field.

The same structured approach is used in both directions, with different capture steps.

01 Customer or site → Service team

  1. Service request received
  2. Guided video link sent
  3. Customer or site contact records
  4. Service team reviews
  5. Resolve remotely or dispatch correctly

02 Field technician → Head office

  1. Technician opens the job
  2. Guided capture on site
  3. Checklist and readings
  4. Before and after evidence
  5. Completion record reviewed centrally
